advanced English learning geekery

A list of common mistakes made by (advanced, I should think) learners of English. I make some of them, too.

#60 The verb 'to discuss' means to talk about. Hence it is tautologous to say 'to discuss about'. This is like saying 'to talk about about'!!!!

Tautologous, eh?
I'm not sure why, but I enjoy reading this kind of thing.

If I can't have conversations, I can at least take steps against forgetting what it sounds like...
